Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quin Chang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jaxson Sullivan! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Sullivan misses its intended target. Chang takes a swing at Sullivan's ribcage but misses. Chang misses with an uppercut. Sullivan saw that one coming. Chang misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sullivan.
Sullivan throws a low kick but Chang moves out of range easily. Chang waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sullivan. Chang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sullivan momentarily.
Chang slips a straight right by Sullivan. Chang connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sullivan's hands. Chang loads up on a big right hand but Sullivan slips the punch. Chang stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chang uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sullivan. Sullivan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nice body punch from Chang.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chang dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A jab from Chang does it's job there. Chang connects with a body shot that sends Sullivan's belly button to the back. Sullivan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chang sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chang jabbing away but nothing is landing. Chang lands a jab. Chang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chang closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Sullivan! Chang dives in looking to finish! Sullivan is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quin Chang! During a confident post fight interview, Quin Chang thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
