The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rox is looking to clinch but Chernov is avoiding it.
Chernov ducks under a wild hook from Rox.
Chernov throws a nice inside leg kick.
Rox wants to clinch.
Rox closes the distance looking to clinch
and Chernov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Rank Rox has been cut.
Rox darts in trying to clinch
and Chernov counters with a nice right hand that sends Rox toppling to the canvas! Rox scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Chernov finish him?!
Rox is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rox fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rox closes the distance but Chernov moves to the side
and Chernov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rox! Chernov lets Rox back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Rox is still on wobbly legs! Can Chernov finish him?
Rox drives through and clinches with Chernov against the cage.
Chernov drops Rox onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Rox is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Chernov throws a big uppercut that drops Rox! More strikes from Chernov and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Rox lies dazed against the cage as Chernov celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergey Chernov!
