Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robo Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rham Kota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pope comes to the cage accompanied by Ghost - Monstrance Clock. Kota comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Won't Let You Down - Chamillionaire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rham Kota acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robo Pope! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rham Kota! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kota shoots in but no luck this time. Kota fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pope sprawls well initially but Kota persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kota stalling away here and it's allowed Pope to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Kota makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
It looks like Robo Pope has been cut. Kota trying to control but Pope is working from the bottom. Kota content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kota working some strikes from top position.
Robo Pope's cut is getting worse. Kota in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kota drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pope looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pope looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pope!

Robo Pope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rham Kota. Pope is looking to break free of the clinch but Kota has double underhooks. Pope's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kota fails with a takedown attempt. Pope is looking to clinch. Pope tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kota swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pope wants to clinch up but Kota keeps it at a distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Pope looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pope tries to clinch but Kota is having none of it. Kota manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pope on his heels. He'll look to pass Pope's guard now, I'm sure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kota looking to sit in guard and control but Pope gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kota has his foot on Pope's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pope works his way back into a safe position though. Kota looking for subs off his back but Pope has passed one foot through into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kota throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pope uses it to pass to side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Robo Pope will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Robo Pope's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

He's got his arms around Pope's waist but Pope gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kota off to one side. Robo Pope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rham Kota. Pope tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kota paws at him with a jab and circles away.
