Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dudley Beever!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Jaa!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beever gets caught flat footed, as Jaa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Beever is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Beever manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jaa tries to hold on but Beever postures up.
Jaa in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Beever has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jaa tries to lock up and control but Beever gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jaa is trying to escape the mount.
Beever lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jaa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beever. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jaa is wriggling around trying to escape.

Beever postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jaa looks a forlorn figure.
Beever has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Beever landing strikes, looking to finish!
BOOM! Beever connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Beever breaks from Jaa's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Beever lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Beever unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jaa wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Beever celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Our winner, Dudley Beever, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
