Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dewey Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Constable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Constable will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dewey Newman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Constable ! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Constable throws a half hearted mid kick. Newman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Constable has a takedown stuffed. Constable throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Constable doesn't manage to clinch there - Newman circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Constable . Constable drives through and clinches with Newman against the cage.
Constable goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Constable jumps guard and drags Newman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Constable working a defensive guard here.
Constable avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Constable tries to land a sweep but no joy. Newman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Constable is looking for a triangle but Newman pushes his legs off easily.
Newman landing with the ground and pound. Newman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Constable is pulling down on Newman's head to control his posture. Newman stopping the sweep attempt from Constable . The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Constable trying to keep a closed guard but Newman is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Constable manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Newman manages to get himself to full guard.
Constable forces his way into half guard. Newman tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Constable has advanced to mount. Uh oh. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Newman tries to get back to half guard but can't. Constable trying to control but Newman is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Constable controlling the pace for now. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Constable scoring with strikes but Newman is staying in there. Constable controlling the position easily from mount. Constable punishing his opponent with strikes. Newman taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Constable swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
