Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moosasi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mercer throws out the jab.
A combination from Mercer does no damage.
Mercer gets a clinch.
Mercer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mercer thows a body shot but no joy.
Mercer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Moosasi is looking for a sweep. Mercer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Moosasi moves into full guard.
Mercer stopping the sweep attempt from Moosasi.
Mercer wants to get up but he can't break Moosasi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Mercer drops back looking for a leg! Moosasi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moosasi manages to kick Mercer off! Mercer jumps back into Moosasi's guard.
Moosasi looking for a guillotine here but Mercer defends easily.

Mercer stands up from Moosasi's guard - Mercer perhaps looking for a knockout.
Alex Mercer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mercer looks to land a combination but Moosasi avoids it well.
Mercer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moosasi.
Mercer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Moosasi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moosasi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mercer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mercer.
Mercer is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moosasi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mercer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Moosasi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mercer's back instead.
Mercer wants to get back to his feet.
Moosasi has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mercer has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mercer is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moosasi is cranking Mercer's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Mercer! He's tightened the choke and Mercer is tapping out!
