Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Omar Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sau Minneo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minneo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: PowerTrip by Monster Magnet. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Minneo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jackson looks to land a combination. Minneo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jackson moves out of range of the body kick from Minneo.
Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Minneo moves away from the strike by Jackson.
Minneo looks to land a body kick but Jackson moved away.
Minneo tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson misses with a body shot.
Jackson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Minneo eats them both and turns towards Jackson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Crunch! Minneo slams his shin into Jackson's torso.
Minneo throws a half hearted mid kick.
Minneo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Minneo wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Minneo scores with a decent looking hook.

Minneo dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Minneo's head and hops out.
Minneo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jackson is out of range.
Minneo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Minneo moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jackson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Minneo - the referee stops the clock and Jackson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Minneo. Jackson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Minneo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crunch! Minneo slams his shin into Jackson's torso.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've been hearing reports that Jackson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Minneo misses with a low kick.
Minneo avoids the body shot from Jackson.

Minneo is looking to land body kicks.
Jackson looks to land a combination. Minneo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A solid leg kick lands there for Jackson.

Jackson thows a body shot but no joy.
Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jackson tries to keep at a distance but Minneo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jackson tries to circle away but Minneo has him pinned against the cage.

Minneo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jackson is defending well for now.

Minneo has Jackson pressed against the cage, preventing Jackson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Jackson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Minneo is controlling him.

Minneo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jackson or not.
Minneo is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jackson is keeping busy.
Jackson manages to break the clinch.
Jackson throws a jab when Minneo was well out of range.
Jackson's corner calls for a 1-2. Jackson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Minneo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Minneo is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jackson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Minneo quite badly. Minneo pulls Jackson in close trying to recover. Jackson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Minneo on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Minneo doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Omar Jackson!
Omar Jackson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
