Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinícius Cavalcante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvydas Sabonis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cavalcante comes to the cage accompanied by Entrance. Arvydas Sabonis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Vinícius Cavalcante's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavalcante throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cavalcante fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sabonis manages to avoid it.
That kick from Sabonis tenderised Cavalcante's leg. Cavalcante is trying to keep his angry face on.

Cavalcante ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sabonis moves away.

The fighters circle momentarily. Cavalcante darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sabonis thuds his shin into the meat of Cavalcante's side.
Cavalcante is breathing heavily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cavalcante crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sabonis - the referee stops the clock and Cavalcante gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sabonis. Cavalcante manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Sabonis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sabonis lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cavalcante or not.
Sabonis throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cavalcantes head.
Sabonis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cavalcante's elbow.
Cavalcante tries to score a body lock takedown but Sabonis shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sabonis can't find room to land a body shot as Cavalcante controls the action.
Sabonis throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Cavalcante is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Arvydas Sabonis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters circling a little - Sabonis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Sabonis lands a left and a right that send Cavalcante crashing to the mat, dazed. Sabonis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cavalcante is rocked!
It looks like Vinícius Cavalcante has been cut.
Sabonis throws an uppercut from hell that sends Cavalcante clean off his feet! He's out cold! Sabonis stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
