Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacDonnell gets the takedown into side control.
Noel defending against the ground and pound.
MacDonnell tries to score with some ground and pound. Noel controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
MacDonnell advances to mount.
MacDonnell thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Noel is squirming around, avoiding MacDonnell's attempts to control the action.
A nice elbow there by MacDonnell.
That's one minute gone in the round.
MacDonnell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Noel's face.
MacDonnell prevents Noel from getting the reversal.
Noel takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
MacDonnell controlling from mount.
MacDonnell postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Noel looks a forlorn figure.
Noel is rocked!
A big strike lands for MacDonnell! That's really hurt Noel and he's turned his back - MacDonnell keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! MacDonnell jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colm MacDonnell!
