The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asos throws a body punch but Mcbride moves out of range.
Mcbride displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Asos throws out the jab.
Asos looks to score with a jab to the body but Mcbride is just out of range.
Nice defenses there by Mcbride.
Asos throws a poor cross that misses
and Mcbride counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Well, if Mcbride is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mcbride stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Asos to get to his feet.
Mcbride dives in and scores a takedown into Asos's guard.

Mcbride shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mcbride has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Asos defend it? Mcbride steps over the head and cranks it - Asos is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mcbride!
