Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 29 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Trezeguet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Bialoglovski! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bialoglovski shoots and misses and Trezeguet counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bialoglovski's knee momentarily. Bialoglovski fails to land the takedown. Bialoglovski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trezeguet sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bialoglovski somewhat. Bialoglovski has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. David Trezeguet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Bialoglovski. Bialoglovski goes for a double leg but Trezeguet avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Trezeguet continues to drive forward. Trezeguet breaks from the clinch.
Bialoglovski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trezeguet avoids it really well and circles away. Trezeguet closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bialoglovski's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bialoglovski can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Trezeguet controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trezeguet has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We're going to have a standup here because David Trezeguet wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Bialoglovski shoots in looking for a takedown but Trezeguet manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bialoglovski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Trezeguet closes the distance and clinches. Nice body punch from Trezeguet. Bialoglovski being controlled against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trezeguet works on Bialoglovski's body with a couple of short punches. Bialoglovski fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bialoglovski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Trezeguet smiles and moves away.
Bialoglovski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Trezeguet stuffs the takedown attempt from Bialoglovski. Bialoglovski gets slowly back to his feet. Trezeguet decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bialoglovski looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trezeguet takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Trezeguet is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bialoglovski has managed to free his arm - good work. Trezeguet slows the pace down in half guard. Bialoglovski is looking to control Trezeguet's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bialoglovski avoid being mounted? Trezeguet performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Trezeguet lands a body shot in the clinch.
Bialoglovski takes a shot to the head. Trezeguet has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bialoglovski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Trezeguet dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bialoglovski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trezeguet but Trezeguet pushes him off and we're back to square one. Trezeguet dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! An inside leg kick lands from Trezeguet. Jack Bialoglovski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trezeguet fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Trezeguet is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bialoglovski can do to turn this around? Bialoglovski is breathing heavily. Trezeguet closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bialoglovski's guard. Bialoglovski looking for a sweep. Not yet Bialoglovski, not yet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Trezeguet turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Trezeguet feints and then cracks Bialoglovski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bialoglovski down.

That's better than Trezeguet was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bialoglovski can't do much from the bottom here. Trezeguet slows the pace down. Trezeguet moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Trezeguet takes the fight into the clinch. Trezeguet lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Bialoglovski. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Trezeguet. Trezeguet's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bialoglovski's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Bialoglovski tries for a takedown but Trezeguet circles away easily and Trezeguet counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Trezeguet looking to finish!
Bialoglovski is rocked! Bialoglovski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Trezeguet loads up on a big left hand. Bialoglovski felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Trezeguet looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Bialoglovski can't hide his disappointment, as Trezeguet celebrates the victory.
