PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Worf Roshenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutus Beefcake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roshenko comes to the cage accompanied by QoNos Death Swell. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Worf Roshenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brutus Beefcake!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefcake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roshenko throws out the jab.

Roshenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Roshenko lands a front kick.
Roshenko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Beefcake paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Roshenko holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Roshenko is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Beefcake can't fight it off and eventually Roshenko manages to take the fight to the floor. Beefcake looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Beefcake has momentary wrist control but Roshenko slips an elbow through the middle.

Roshenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Beefcake looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Roshenko not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Roshenko passes Beefcake's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Beefcake trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Roshenko lands a couple of good shots and Beefcake has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

It looks like Brutus Beefcake has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Roshenko has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Beefcake's body.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Roshenko. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beefcake is trying to remain composed but Roshenko is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Roshenko is looking to control Beefcake but Beefcake is wriggling around and keeping busy.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Beefcake rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Roshenko connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Roshenko sizes up Beefcake with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Roshenko drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Beefcake right on the button. Beefcake goes down! Roshenko follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Roshenko gets the win via TKO!
