Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Richmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Ross is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruno Richmond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Ross! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ross fails with the takedown. Ross shoots in looking for a takedown. Richmond tries to sprawl out of it but Ross keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Richmond manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ross shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Richmond counters with a lovely shot to the body. Bruno Richmond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Ross. Richmond shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ross as he jumps to the side. Rick Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ross shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ross was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Richmond tries to improve position but can't. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ross has eaten all the pies! Ross tries to move into full mount but can't pass Richmond's legs. Ross taking a breather here. Richmond is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richmond gets back to half guard. Richmond tries to roll over but Ross keeps him under control. Ross wants to pass the guard but Richmond is defending well. Richmond is trying to maintain the position but Ross is very close to passing his half guard. Richmond is looking for a sweep. Ross is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Richmond is breathing heavily. Ross not doing much here.
Ross is looking to advance position but Richmond won't allow it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ross closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Richmond did well to prevent Ross getting side control. Ross looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richmond. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Richmond tries to roll over but Ross keeps him under control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Richmond flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ross trying to pass the guard but Richmond defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Richmond wants to get back to full guard. Ross tries to pass the half guard into mount. Richmond knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ross trying to control the pace.
Rick Ross has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ross.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ross shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Richmond defends it nicely. Ross tries to score a power double leg takedown but Richmond sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ross somewhat. Richmond tries for a takedown but Ross sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Richmond leaves Ross with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ross is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Richmond's half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Ross dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ross manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Richmond on his heels. He'll look to pass Richmond's guard now, I'm sure. Ross sitting in guard, not really doing much. Richmond looking for a guillotine here but Ross defends easily.
Ross engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ross landing some decent shots from guard. Ross controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Richmond is on top in guard.
Ross is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Richmond stopping the sweep attempt from Ross. Ross is pulling down on Richmond's head to control his posture.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Rick Ross hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ross misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ross closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ross lands in his opponent's guard. Richmond looking for a sweep. Not yet Richmond, not yet. Ross seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Richmond has his foot on Ross's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ross works his way back into a safe position though. Richmond keeping full guard, as Ross tries to pass. This has been an exciting period of action! Ross content to stall in guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rick Ross has got the better of the ground game so far. Richmond wants to stand and escape but Ross is having none of it. Ross stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Richmond swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ross sitting in guard here, content to control.

Ross seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ross trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rick Ross. Ross shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ross stops Richmond from getting back to his feet.

Rick Ross showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Ross shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Richmond's guard. Ross lands a couple of decent looking shots. Richmond working for a triangle but Ross defends it easily.
Richmond controls Ross momentarily but Ross frees himself. Ross controlling from the top position. Ross makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ross is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Richmond looking for a sweep. Not yet Richmond, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ross with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ross controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Richmond will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Ross bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Richmond is looking for a sweep. Rick Ross is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ross is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Richmond's shoulder. That is not cool. Ross tries to advance to mount but can't. Richmond is letting Ross control him for a moment. Richmond is trying to improve his position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Richmond is trying to control Ross's posture but Ross avoids it. Ross moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Richmond is looking for a sweep. Ross taking a breather here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rick Ross wasn't active enough on the ground. Ross looking to score a takedown here. Richmond is defending well but Ross drives through and ends up in Richmond's guard. Ross is stalling in the full guard. Ross must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Richmond regains half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ross is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bruno Richmond has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight! Rick Ross comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ross has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
