Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mats Söderlund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aapo Ik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Söderlund's entrance music is Gunther - Ding Ding Dong Song. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Söderlund walks into a jab.
Söderlund throws a low kick but Ik avoids it.
Ik fails with a takedown attempt.
Söderlund tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ik is able to avoid easily.
Ik misses with a left hand
and Söderlund counters with a slapping leg kick.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Ik counters with a nice low kick that buckles Söderlund's knee momentarily.
