PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ragna Kisaragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Deimos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Deimos told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deimos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kisaragi as he jumps to the side.
Kisaragi lands a two punch combo.
Deimos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kisaragi is fending him off so far but Deimos persists. Nope, Kisaragi circles away and we're back to standing.

Kisaragi clobbers Deimos with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kisaragi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Deimos turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Deimos manages to end up in side control.The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ragna Kisaragi.
