Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gimme Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Daskalov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money comes to the cage accompanied by Money for Nothing. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gimme Money!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Daskalov!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money tries to clinch
and Daskalov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Money throws a leg kick that is checked

and Daskalov counters with a takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Money is trying to improve his position.
Money's coaches at Eff yoo Gymnasium have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Money pushes Daskalov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Daskalov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Money trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

It looks like Martin Daskalov has been cut.
Money moves in looking to clinch but Daskalov pushes him off.
Money jabs Daskalov to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Money throws a jab but it's blocked by Daskalov.
Daskalov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Daskalov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Money to score with a decent uppercut.
Daskalov is still on wobbly legs! Can Money finish him?

Money clinches.
Money is trying to push Daskalov away but Daskalov has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Daskalov jumps guard and drags Money to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Daskalov seems to have recovered his senses.

Money drops back, looking for a kneebar! Daskalov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Daskalov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Daskalov!
Money is not content to let Daskalov control the position.
Money is trying to control Daskalov's posture but Daskalov avoids it.

Daskalov wants to control but Money is keeping him busy.

Money is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Daskalov asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Money is not content to let Daskalov control the position.
Daskalov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Money haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Money is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Daskalov throwing shots but Money is blocking nicely.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Money manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Daskalov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Money fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Money misses with a few strikes there.
Daskalov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Money moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Daskalov slips a straight right by Money.
Money swings for the body but Daskalov moves out of range.
Money with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Daskalov to score with a decent uppercut.
Money dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Daskalov. That did some damage!

and Daskalov counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Daskalov.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Money throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Daskalov.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gimme Money will probably get the nod.
