Haarmann has chosen Macabre - Fritz Haarmann The Butcher as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Oskar Wysocki!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fritz Haarmann!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wysocki smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Haarmann shoots in looking for a takedown. Wysocki tries to sprawl out of it but Haarmann keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wysocki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wysocki uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Haarmann.
Haarmann darts in looking for a takedown but Wysocki gets double underhooks and turns Haarmann into the cage.
Wysocki is trying to break free.
Haarmann is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wysocki to keep the fight standing.
Oskar Wysocki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fritz Haarmann.
Wysocki tries to circle away but Haarmann has him pinned against the cage.

Wysocki has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Haarmann clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Haarmann breaks Wysocki's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Haarmann trying to control the position from guard on top but Wysocki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Haarmann slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Wysocki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Haarmann doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Haarmann manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wysocki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Haarmann passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Haarmann tries for a kimura but Wysocki is defending well.

Haarmann tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Haarmann has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Wysocki sneaks back into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haarmann is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Haarmann is trying to work for a kimura but Wysocki is defending well.

Haarmann is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wysocki sees it coming and defends easily.
Wysocki tries to get to full guard but Haarmann has control of the leg.

Haarmann is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Haarmann in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Wysocki tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Haarmann!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Fritz Haarmann!
Fritz Haarmann is the new light heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Fritz Haarmann thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
