Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Homerun McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Homerun McGee looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails with the takedown.
Silva tries to bum rush McGee with a series of wild strikes but McGee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McGee checks a leg kick.
McGee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McGee throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McGee as he avoids it easily.
Homerun McGee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wanderlei Silva.

and McGee counters with a head kick. That will keep Silva thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McGee paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McGee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McGee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McGee gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Silva to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McGee has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Silva is on him like a limpet, forcing McGee back against the cage.

McGee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McGee is working Silva over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

I would just about give that final round to Wanderlei Silva.
Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
