Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Camacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Marano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Terry Camacho has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Terry Camacho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camacho connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Marano momentarily.
Marano moves into the clinch successfully.
Marano breaks the clinch.
Marano throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Camacho counters with a three punch combo that has Marano backing up. Marano nods at Camacho to acknowledge the strikes.
Marano throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Camacho counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Camacho scores with a punch to the head.
Camacho lands a jab.
Camacho ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Marano fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Camacho sprawls well initially but Marano persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Marano thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Camacho tries to get to full guard but Marano has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marano is taking a breather. Camacho says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Let's hope that Marano has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Chris Marano hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Camacho fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Marano shoots in and gets a takedown into Camacho's guard.

Marano is looking to work some ground and pound but Camacho has wrist control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Chris Marano wasn't active enough on the ground.
Marano has Camacho up against the cage in a clinch.
Marano is looking to control Camacho's arms but Camacho gets an underhook and turns him. Now Marano has his back to the cage.
Marano prevents a takedown attempt there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marano seems to be looking for submissions.
Marano working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Camacho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marano.
Marano closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Marano lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Chris Marano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Camacho's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Marano throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Camacho counter with a right hand.
Camacho is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Camacho is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Marano changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Camacho looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Marano has knee on belly momentarily but Camacho bucks him off and regains half guard.
Camacho tries to roll over but Marano keeps him under control.

Marano has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Camacho's face.

Marano wants to control the pace but Camacho is squirming around nicely.
Camacho is just holding on here. Marano manages to take his back.
Marano is looking for a choke. Camacho gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Camacho manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Marano pulls Camacho in close to his closed guard and prevents Camacho from doing any damage or advancing position.

Chris Marano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Marano has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
