Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bishop Huff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Barral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop Huff has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bishop Huff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paulo Barral! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huff shoots in and drives through. Barral sprawls well. Paulo Barral seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barral lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Huff circles away quickly and effectively. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Barral has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Huff shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barral napping and manages to drive through into side control! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Barral is looking to regain half guard here but Huff keeps moving and retains side control. Huff is trying to get an arm triangle but Barral is defending well. Barral struggling a bit here. Barral regains half guard. Barral trying to control but Huff postures up.
Huff will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Barral won't allow Huff to pass to mount. Huff knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barral on the ground. Huff throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Barral wants to control but Huff is keeping busy and won't allow it. Barral is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Huff tries to stand but can't do so whilst Barral controls his leg. Huff wants to control but Barral is keeping him busy. Barral looking for submissions off his back.

Huff is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Huff is looking to stand up but Barral won't let him. Huff postures up in Barral's guard and throws a big left but Barral blocks it. Barral keeping moving, preventing Huff from controlling successfully. Huff won't allow Barral to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barral working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Huff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Huff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Barral looks winded! Huff trying to control the position from guard on top but Barral is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Barral is looking for a triangle but Huff pushes his legs off easily.
Huff would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Barral had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Huff defends it easily. Huff throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Barral works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Huff trying to control the position from guard on top but Barral is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Barral is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Huff has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Huff controls from within his opponent's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Barral looking to control.

A close round but Paulo Barral will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Barral drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Barral is working to tighten his grip on Huff's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Huff has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Barral is really squeezing tight and eventually Huff passes out! Barral breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
