Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelyanenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanner has chosen The Doors -- Riders on the Storm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ren Tanner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelyanenko throws a head kick that misses.
Emelyanenko is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tanner. Emelyanenko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tanner misses with an uppercut.
Tanner blocks a head kick by Emelyanenko.
Emelyanenko has closed the distance and engaged Tanner in a clinch.
Tanner misses with a punch on the inside.
Tanner throws a head punch that misses.
Emelyanenko has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Tanner regains guard immediately.

Tanner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Tanner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Emelyanenko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tanner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Emelyanenko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Tanner is tightening it up a little... Emelyanenko has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Emelyanenko reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Emelyanenko taps out! Nice BJJ there by Tanner!
