Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Don Ovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark The King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Don Ovan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark The King! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ovan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The King paws at him with a jab and circles away. The King fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ovan lands a two punch combo.
The King has a takedown stuffed. Ovan wants to clinch. Ovan shoots for a takedown but The King saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. The King slips a jab from Ovan. Ovan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The King clinches. Ovan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but The King gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Ovan. That's going to take a lot out of him. The King pulls Ovan into guard.

Ovan blocking the ground and pound. The King controlling the position easily from mount. The King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ovan is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ovan throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

The King stands up from mount. Strange move. Ovan tries to clinch and The King counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Ovan looking for a takedown. The King jumps guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The King misses with a takedown and Ovan counters with a straight right hand. Ovan shoots for a double leg takedown but The King sprawls well. He's pushed Ovan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The King circles away from the clinch attempt.

The King stuffs the takedown. The King instigates a clinch. The King ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. The King no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The King is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Ovan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The King on the ground. The King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ovan controls the pace. The King seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Ovan wants to pass the guard but The King is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ovan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and The King counters with a stiff right hand. A head kick misses from Ovan. Ovan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ovan with a body punch. A glancing blow. The King takes a swing at Ovan's ribcage but misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ovan with a lazy takedown attempt and The King counters with a low kick, right behind Ovan 's knee. The King throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ovan. Ovan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. The King sprawls well initially but Ovan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark The King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The King manages to break the clinch.
Ovan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and The King counters with a shoot takedown. Ovan fights it but they end up in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark The King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well The King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
