Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Veikko Rastila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rastila's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, One Hit. Maxwell has chosen Sonne - Rammstein as his entrance music. Veikko Rastila has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rastila looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Maxwell feints and then cracks Rastila's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rastila down.

Maxwell throws a lazy right hand but Rastila sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Maxwell has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rastila connects with a nice short shot to Maxwell's temple.
