Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nate Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Neil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Neil acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neil misses with a looping left.
A looping hook to the body misses from Neil. Timmons does a little dance to reset his feet.
Timmons definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Neil misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Timmons.
Timmons waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Neil.
Timmons takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Neil avoids the head kick by Timmons.
Neil walks into a straight right hand from Timmons.
Neil throws a looping overhand right but Timmons ducks down to avoid it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Neil has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Timmons closes the distance and pushes Neil back into the cage.
Timmons lands a body punch in the clinch.
Neil looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Timmons cracks Neil with a nice body shot.
Neil blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Timmons breaks from the clinch.
Neil misses with an uppercut

and Timmons counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Timmons.
Timmons pushes Neil back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Timmons lands an uppercut.

Timmons breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Timmons lands a big head kick that sends Neil to the canvas! Timmons follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

In his post fight interview, Nate Timmons gave a big smile as he said 'This is for all the cans who were beaten by Meat this last year. He now knows how it feels'.
