Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lakay Gilas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gracie Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gilas comes to the cage accompanied by Remember The Name - Fort Minor. On his way into the cage it seems that Lakay Gilas has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lakay Gilas seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lakay Gilas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gracie Allen! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen misses with a hook. A telegraphed right hand from Allen misses the target. Gilas shoots in looking for a takedown. Allen tries to sprawl out of it but Gilas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Allen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gilas looks to score with a jab to the body but Allen is just out of range. Allen rushes Gilas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Allen misses with some punches.
Allen is trying to trip Gilas. He has hold of a leg but Gilas is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Allen persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Gilas trying to keep a closed guard but Allen is proving a slippery customer.
Gilas has his foot on Allen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Allen works his way back into a safe position though. Gilas keeping full guard, as Allen tries to pass. Allen stopping the sweep attempt from Gilas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gilas wants to stand up but Allen is controlling him. Gilas is looking for a triangle but Allen pushes his legs off easily.
Gilas is looking to sweep but instead, Allen has passed into half guard.
Gilas is trying to maintain the position but Allen is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gilas is looking for a sweep. Allen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Allen working Gilas over with strikes. Gilas is positioning himself well to prevent Allen advancing to mount. Gilas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Allen wants to take a breather but Gilas is having none of it. Gilas is looking to improve his position.
Allen is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Gilas reverses the position - he's now on top in Allen's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gilas working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Allen is pulling down on Gilas's head to control his posture. Allen is striking but Gilas is not phased and passes to half guard. Gilas is looking to take a break and control but Allen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Allen looking for submissions off his back. Allen tries to get to full guard but Gilas has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen trying to control but Gilas postures up.
Allen on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gilas thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gilas is trying to control the action in half guard but Allen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Nice strikes from Gilas there. Allen is not content to let Gilas control the position. Gilas missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gilas thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gilas trying to control the action but Allen is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lakay Gilas will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Allen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gilas misses with an uppercut. Allen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Gilas manages to get to full guard.
Allen won't allow Gilas to sweep him here. Gilas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen is standing up over Gilas. Gilas looks to escape but Allen dives into side control.
Lakay Gilas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Allen moves into full mount! Allen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gilas to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gilas shrugs it off. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gilas keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Allen goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gilas is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen is trying to hold Gilas in close to prevent damage but Gilas has managed to pass into half guard.
Gilas throws a strike but Allen avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Allen trying to keep a closed guard but Gilas is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen is trapped and Gilas is scoring with shots to the head and body. Allen avoids the strikes from Gilas. You can see the frustration on Allen's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Gilas not allowing Allen to control his hands. Gilas thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Allen is trying to remain composed but Gilas is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Allen is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Gilas.
Allen just looking to survive in the bad position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gilas tries to keep control of the position but Allen is staying busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lakay Gilas dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Gilas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Allen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Allen scoring well with a low kick there.
Allen missing with a left hand there. Gilas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Allen slaps away a takedown attempt from Gilas, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gilas thows a left - swing and a miss! Allen shoots in and gets a takedown into Gilas's guard.

Gilas keeping moving, preventing Allen from controlling successfully. Gilas wants to sweep here but Allen controlling him for the moment. Gilas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Allen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gilas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Lakay Gilas wasn't doing enough on the ground. Gilas missing with a left hand there. Allen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Allen moves out of range as Gilas strikes. A looping hook to the body misses from Allen. Gilas does a little dance to reset his feet. Allen shoots for a takedown but Gilas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Gilas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Allen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gilas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allen manages to avoid it. Gilas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Allen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A bone on bone clash there as Gilas blocks the leg kick.
Gilas fails with a takedown attempt. Gracie Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gilas thows a body shot but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gilas was covering up waiting for the punch and Allen finishes the takedown easily into guard. Allen wants to control from the top but Gilas keeps moving. Gilas working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gilas is on top in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gilas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gilas is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Allen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Allen has escaped and now he's on top! Allen passes Gilas's left leg - he's now in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Gracie Allen. I think Gilas has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
