Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Jackson! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jackson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jackson looks gassed! Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Johnson. Jeff Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jackson has had enough of the clinch but Johnson keeps him there for the moment. Johnson manages to break the clinch.
A choreographed right hand from Johnson misses the target. Jackson misses with a low kick. Jackson forces Johnson back against the cage and clinches. Johnson can't break the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Johnson.
A left hand lands to the body for Johnson.
Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson slips a straight right by Johnson. Johnson throws the left hand but Jackson avoids the punch easily. Jackson throws a solid leg kick but Johnson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jackson. Jackson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Johnson. Johnson obviously looking to wear him down.
Johnson cracks Jackson with a right hand to the side of the head.Johnson misses with a hook. Jackson ducked under it nicely. Jackson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Johnson scores with a shot to the body.
Johnson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Jackson moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson keeps Jackson at a distance using the push kick. An inside leg kick lands from Johnson. Jackson wants to clinch. Johnson missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Johnson Rushes Jackson and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Jackson is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Johnson Piles on the pressure and Jackson crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
