With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Rubey!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Uvol is defended easily by Rubey.
Rubey takes a swing at Uvol's ribcage but misses.
Rubey slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rubey thumps Uvol with a low kick.
Rubey keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rubey lands with a nice combination. Uvol backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Paul Uvol has been cut.
Uvol tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Uvol tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rubey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Uvol somewhat.
Rubey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Uvol or perhaps it was just good defense by Rubey which made him look bad.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rubey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, if Rubey is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

After winning the bout, Chris Rubey thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Paul Uvol was interviewed post fight and said 'All I can do at this point is go back to the gym & fix the holes in my game & come back stronger next time. Im here to entertain'.
