Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chase Rouch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Jonathon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rouch comes to the cage accompanied by Can I. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Jonathon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonathon closes the distance and clinches up with Rouch, looking for a takedown. Jonathon pushes Rouch against the cage but Rouch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rouch looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jonathon misses with a body shot
and Rouch moves into the clinch.
Jonathon goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rouch prevents it.
Jonathon takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Ben Jonathon has been cut.
Rouch manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Rouch throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Jonathon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rouch after a bit of a struggle.
Chase Rouch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Jonathon.
Rouch looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Jonathon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rouch is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rouch seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Rouch jerks Jonathon's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Jonathon drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Rouch goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Rouch because Jonathon was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Chase Rouch!
