Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josue Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregor Klaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josue Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gregor Klaus! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee gets tackled into the cage by Klaus. Klaus maintains the clinch. The referee calls for Klaus to work.
Klaus lands a knee to the body.
Lee wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Klaus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Klaus wants the takedown. Lee is fighting it off but Klaus persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lee's guard against the cage. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lee throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Klaus wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Lee is adopting a defensive guard. Lee wants to sweep here but Klaus controlling him for the moment. Klaus trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Gregor Klaus wasn't active enough on the ground. Klaus pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Klaus forces Lee back against the cage and clinches. Klaus jumps guard and drags Lee to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Lee stops Klaus from standing up. Klaus keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Klaus lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lee! Klaus throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee is working to get back to half guard.
Lee looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Klaus tries to get the hooks in deep but Lee pushed the leg off. Klaus lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Klaus doesn't have the hooks in and Lee manages to turn into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Klaus looking for a guillotine here but Lee defends easily.
Klaus is trying to control the position but Lee postures up. Klaus thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Klaus is trying to hold Lee in close to prevent damage but Lee has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Klaus kicks off Lee and gets to his feet. Klaus has Lee up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee jumps guard but Klaus stands there with Lee around his waist. Lee gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Klaus working aggressively here.
Klaus has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lee regains guard immediately. Lee wants to stand but Klaus is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Klaus trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Klaus controls the pace. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Klaus trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gregor Klaus dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Klaus pinned against the cage. Klaus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Klaus connects with a single shot there. Klaus closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lee trying to hold on to Klaus's head to control him but Klaus postures up.
Klaus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lee doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Klaus. Klaus prevents Lee from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee missing with punches from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Klaus seems content to control. Klaus scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Klaus stalling away here and it's allowed Lee to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Lee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee can't keep his opponent in guard - Klaus advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lee is looking to control Klaus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted? Klaus seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Klaus controlling the action here. Klaus moves into full mount! Lee won't be happy about that! Klaus trying to control but Lee is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Klaus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't. Klaus looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Klaus get's back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Klaus drives through with a takedown into Lee's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Lee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Klaus defends it easily. Lee keeping moving, preventing Klaus from controlling successfully. Klaus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Klaus stands and steps away. Lee gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Klaus looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lee! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gregor Klaus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Klaus misses with a hook. Klaus clinches with his opponent.
Lee pulls guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.
Lee stops Klaus from standing up. Lee wants to control from the top but Klaus keeps moving. Lee is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Klaus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.
Klaus throws an elbow that misses. Lee uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Klaus's guard. Nice move by Lee!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Lee with a flurry of punches that miss. Klaus is trying to control the position but Lee postures up. Klaus wants to sweep but no luck. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Klaus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Klaus is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Klaus looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee stays in close to Klaus's body and controls the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Klaus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lee throwing strikes but missing. Klaus wants to sweep but no luck. Lee postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Lee content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Lee keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Klaus's head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Klaus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lee controls from within his opponent's guard. Klaus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Klaus controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Josue Lee wasn't doing enough on the ground. Klaus gets a double leg takedown into Lee's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to stand and escape but Klaus is having none of it. Klaus stands and steps away. Lee gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Klaus looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Klaus takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Klaus trying to pass the guard but Lee defending well. Klaus trying to control from half guard but Lee is working away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Klaus stops Lee from getting back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Gregor Klaus. Well Klaus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
