The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandella throws a series of punches but Fabinal moves out of range.
Mandella cracks Fabinal with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mandella dodges the punch combination from Fabinal.
Codey Fabinal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fabinal gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mandella.
Fabinal misses with a combination
and Mandella cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mandella misses with a few strikes there.
Fabinal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mandella swivels and escapes.
Fabinal tries to clinch up
and Mandella counters with a straight right hand.
Mandella feints with a jab and clips Fabinal right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Fabinal is sent crashing into the canvas and Mandella leaps in for the kill! Fabinal tries to get to his feet but Mandella is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Fabinal is in need of a savior and steps in!
