Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Urutaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Crim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kai Urutaka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thomas Crim! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crim misses with a body kick. Urutaka tries a head kick but it misses.
Oooooh!!! Urutaka has knocked Crim down with a huge combo! Urutaka steps away and waves a wobbly Crim back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Thomas Crim has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crim listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Urutaka blocks a leg kick. Urutaka jabs at Crim's body. Crim has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Urutaka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crim circles away quickly and effectively. Crim throws a hook but Urutaka avoids it easily. Urutaka gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Crim to score an easy takedown into full guard. Crim throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Urutaka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Urutaka wants to get back to his feet but Crim is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Urutaka keeping moving, preventing Crim from controlling successfully. Crim is in close to Urutaka's body, working some short punches and elbows. Urutaka wants to get back to his feet but Crim is in a dominant position and won't allow it. That's one minute gone in the round. Urutaka is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Crim is aware though and is defending well. Urutaka wants to stand but Crim is controlling the position. Urutaka looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Crim won't allow Urutaka to get back to his feet. Crim avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Urutaka has momentary wrist control but Crim slips an elbow through the middle. Crim won't allow Urutaka to sweep him here. Urutaka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Crim keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Urutaka's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crim is working Urutaka over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Crim is looking to work some ground and pound but Urutaka has wrist control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crim content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Urutaka has momentary wrist control but Crim slips an elbow through the middle. Crim advances position into side control! Urutaka on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Crim lands a nice forearm strike. Urutaka is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Crim is controlling him well. Urutaka takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Urutaka is rocked! Crim thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Oh Urutaka is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Urutaka on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Urutaka is trying to get back to half guard. Urutaka seems to have got his legs back now. Urutaka tries to escape but Crim is in control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crim has control of an arm but Urutaka manages to advance to Crim's back! Crim rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Crim looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crim wants to control but Urutaka is keeping busy and won't allow it. Urutaka wants to pass to mount but Crim is defending the position. Urutaka is trying to control the action in half guard but Crim is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Crim makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Crim. Urutaka wants to stand but Crim is controlling his posture from full guard. Crim pushes a forearm under Urutaka's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Urutaka is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
