The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griggs lands a nice looking body shot.
Griggs has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rape Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Hilton lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Hilton throws a hook but Griggs avoids it easily.
Hilton shoots in looking for a takedown. Griggs tries to sprawl out of it but Hilton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griggs manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hilton tries a head kick but it misses.
Griggs looks to land a combination. Hilton sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Chad Griggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hilton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hilton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hilton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hilton throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Griggs slips under a jab.
Griggs lands with a cross.
Griggs stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Griggs sends Hilton crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Griggs is motioning to the referee to let Hilton up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Hilton is rocked!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hilton.
Hilton is still on wobbly legs! Can Griggs finish him?
Hilton leaves his chin hanging out and Griggs seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hilton crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
