Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wong Mongtong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skinner Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mongtong comes to the cage accompanied by Blackened. Crowe has chosen Angry Johnny & The Killbillies - A Love More True as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wong Mongtong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Skinner Crowe! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mongtong throws a sloppy head kick and Crowe moves out of range easily. A clash of legs there as Crowe blocks the low kick. Mongtong moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Mongtong throws a leg kick which misses Crowe's front leg but catches the back leg as Crowe tries to avoid it. Mongtong throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Crowe counters with a takedown into side control. An elbow from Crowe crashes against the mat.
Mongtong tries to bench press Crowe off him but Crowe keeps the position. Crowe throws a strike aimed at the side of Mongtong's head but Mongtong avoids it well. Crowe is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mongtong is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Crowe tries for a kimura but Mongtong is defending well. Crowe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mongtong struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mongtong is looking to regain half guard here but Crowe keeps moving and retains side control. Mongtong manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Crowe is looking for a kimura but Mongtong is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Crowe to get the leverage. Crowe is looking to pass Mongtong's guard but actually Mongtong recovers to full guard. Mongtong tries to land a sweep but no joy. Crowe engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Crowe postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crowe tries to free his leg and advance position but Mongtong is retaining full guard. Crowe wants to control from the top but Mongtong keeps moving. Crowe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mongtong is keeping the position for now. Crowe throws a big right hand that misses. Crowe is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crowe wants to pass the guard but Mongtong is keeping the position. Crowe keeps trying to improve his position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mongtong wants to sweep here but Crowe controlling him for the moment. Mongtong is looking for a triangle but Crowe pushes his legs off easily.
Crowe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mongtong is keeping the position for now. Mongtong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crowe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mongtong looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crowe postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mongtong is trying to control the position but Crowe postures up. Mongtong can't keep his opponent in guard - Crowe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Mongtong blocking the ground and pound attempt from Crowe. Mongtong is staying active underneath Crowe, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mongtong is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Crowe jumps into side control! Crowe wants to control but Mongtong is keeping him busy. Mongtong is working to avoid the ground and pound but Crowe connects with a decent elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mongtong struggling a bit here. Crowe slows the pace down. Mongtong goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Crowe closes the distance and clinches up with Mongtong, looking for a takedown. Crowe pushes Mongtong against the cage but Mongtong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mongtong thows a leg kick but Crowe checks it and Crowe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mongtong won't be happy with that. Crowe wants to control but Mongtong is keeping him busy. Crowe tries to advance to mount but can't. Crowe creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Mongtong is looking for a sweep. Crowe looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Mongtong is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Crowe off and has taken his back!

Crowe tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Crowe gets back to half guard. Mongtong is keen to just control but Crowe is a slippery customer. Crowe looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Crowe wants to get back to full guard but Mongtong has mounted him! Crowe is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Skinner Crowe has got the better of the ground game so far. Crowe is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mongtong wants to take his opponent's back but Crowe doesn't allow it. Mongtong tries to control but Crowe wriggling away. Crowe wants to hold on but Mongtong pushes him away. Crowe really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mongtong trying to control but Crowe is having none of it. Crowe tries to reverse the position but Mongtong maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mongtong wants to control the pace but Crowe is squirming around nicely. Mongtong looking to control and managing it successfully. Crowe slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Mongtong is trying to control the action in half guard but Crowe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Wong Mongtong just wasn't active enough. Mongtong misses with a looping left. Crowe moves out of range of the body kick. Mongtong throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Crowe counters with a nice double leg into guard. Crowe postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mongtong can't keep his opponent in guard - Crowe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Skinner Crowe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Mongtong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
A looping hook to the body misses from Mongtong. Crowe does a little dance to reset his feet. Mongtong lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. We've been told by Mongtong's head coaches at CCF's Flying Circus that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Crowe avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Mongtong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crowe moves away. Crowe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mongtong. Crowe takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wong Mongtong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mongtong connects with a jab. Mongtong goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Mongtong throws a leg kick and Crowe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mongtong won't be happy with that. Crowe tries to move to mount but Mongtong blocks the move with his legs. Mongtong is trapped and Crowe is scoring with shots to the head and body. Crowe wants to control the position but Mongtong frees himself and scrambles - Crowe manages to regain control in side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Crowe controlling the pace. Crowe missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Crowe is pressing down on Mongtong's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mongtong is holding on for now. Crowe not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Crowe looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Crowe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mongtong sees it coming and defends easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crowe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mongtong keeps working. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crowe frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Skinner Crowe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Crowe winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Skinner Crowe wins by unanimous decision! A less than humble Skinner Crowe misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
