Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lagar Prechnyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rodney Duran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lagar Prechnyan! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duran gets caught flat footed, as Prechnyan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Prechnyan sitting in guard, not really doing much. Duran throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Duran is working an open guard so Prechnyan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A decent looking body kick lands there for Duran. Prechnyan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duran throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Prechnyan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Duran is trying to defend but Prechnyan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Prechnyan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Prechnyan drives through with a takedown into guard. Prechnyan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Prechnyan postures up in Duran's guard and throws a big left but Duran blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prechnyan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Duran has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Prechnyan has managed to get both his arms back between Duran's legs - danger averted. Duran keeping full guard, as Prechnyan tries to pass. Duran controls Prechnyan momentarily but Prechnyan frees himself. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Prechnyan wants to pass the guard but Duran is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prechnyan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Lagar Prechnyan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Prechnyan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Duran quickly recovers to half guard. Prechnyan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duran is just riding it out for now. Prechnyan eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Duran misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prechnyan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Prechnyan content to control rather than advance. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Prechnyan seems to be looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lagar Prechnyan dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Left hook, right uppercut from Prechnyan.
It looks like Rodney Duran has been cut. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Prechnyan. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Prechnyan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Duran looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Prechnyan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Prechnyan in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Duran is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
