Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Colonel Angus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Demarcus Walcott!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Francis DeMontford and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angus avoids a punch combination nicely.
Walcott swinging wildly here.
Angus goes for a double leg but Walcott avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walcott continues to drive forward.
Angus tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Angus goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Walcott prevents a body shot from Angus.

Walcott manages to break the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Walcott as Angus shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colonel Angus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walcott digs a good hook to Angus's body.
Walcott throws a sloppy head kick and Angus moves out of range easily.

Angus scores with a takedown into Walcott's guard.
Angus tries to free his leg and advance position but Walcott is retaining full guard.
Walcott wants to sweep here but Angus controlling him for the moment.

Angus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walcott swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Walcott wants to stand but Angus is controlling the position.
Angus throwing strikes but missing.
Angus trying to control but Walcott is working from the bottom.
Angus prevents Walcott from getting back to his feet.

Angus passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Angus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Walcott is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Walcott felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Walcott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Angus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Angus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Angus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Angus has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Walcott is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Angus yanks on the arm and Walcott is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Angus.
