Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ed Barton! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mcneil to the mat! Mcneil manages to get full guard. Barton throws a strike but Mcneil rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Barton tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mcneil throws a big right hand that misses. Barton pulls Mcneil in close to prevent any damage. Mcneil postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcneil thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Barton is trying to keep Mcneil in close.
