Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cass Pennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cass Pennant! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to clinch there but Pennant circles away.
Jones lands a body shot.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jones throws a low kick but it's checked well by Pennant. Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones closes the distance and pushes Pennant back into the cage. Jones definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pennant misses with a hook from the clinch. Pennant misses with a punch to the body.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Pennant fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones darts in and clinches Pennant up against the cage. Pennant tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing Pennant back against the cage. Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jones takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones has Pennant pressed against the cage, preventing Pennant from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss. Pennant misses with a shot to the body and Pennant takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jim Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pennant misses with a wild body shot. Pennant has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones moves into range and clinches up with Pennant. Jones decides to pull guard. Pennant content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Jones has locked up a guillotine! Jones's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Pennant is holding on here and Jones must be using up a lot of energy. Pennant has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Jones gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jim Jones!
