Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Randy Lebanez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tim Reaper will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Lebanez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Reaper!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Steve Erwin and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Reaper. No joy for Lebanez on that attempt.

Lebanez tries to keep at a distance but Reaper has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lebanez has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Reaper regains guard immediately.
Lebanez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lebanez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Reaper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lebanez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Reaper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lebanez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reaper for as long as he can get away with.

The referee warns Reaper that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lebanez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lebanez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lebanez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reaper with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
