The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mafra fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Holt to the ground. Mafra is now in Holt's guard.
Holt keeping moving, preventing Mafra from controlling successfully.
Mafra passes Holt's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holt tries to get to full guard but Mafra has control of the leg.
Holt is staying active underneath Mafra, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Holt is looking to improve his position.

Mafra seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Holt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mafra maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Holt could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mafra has cracked it and Holt is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mafra!

Luigi Mafra spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
