Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laz Icarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Hastings Kamuzu Banda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Icarus comes to the cage accompanied by Flying dutchman. Banda is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hastings Banda. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banda shoots in for a double leg but Icarus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Icarus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Banda swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Icarus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Banda closes this distance looking for a takedown but Icarus circles away.
Banda tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Icarus defends well and Banda ends up having to push Icarus into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Laz Icarus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dr Hastings Kamuzu Banda.
Banda goes for a takedown in the clinch but Icarus prevents it.
Icarus gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Banda.
Banda is trying to force a seperation but Icarus has the dominant position.
Banda tries for a takedown but Icarus manages to get underhooks.
Banda tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Icarus lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Banda goes for a takedown attempt but Icarus pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Banda dives in for a single leg takedown but Icarus sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Icarus decides to pull guard.
Icarus pulls Banda in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Banda wants to control from the top but Icarus keeps moving.
Banda must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Laz Icarus just wasn't active enough.
Icarus lands a head kick. Banda smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Banda fails with an attempt to clinch.
Banda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Icarus as he jumps to the side.
Icarus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Banda.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Banda misses with a takedown attempt - Icarus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Icarus lands a nice shot to the body.
Banda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Icarus as he jumps to the side.
Icarus jabs at Banda's body.
Icarus moves out of range of the leg kick from Banda.
Icarus misses with a few strikes there.
Icarus works the jab nicely.
Banda shoots in but Icarus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Banda throws a head kick that misses
and Icarus counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Banda looks to clinch
and Icarus counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Banda wants to clinch but Icarus slips to the side
enabling Icarus to counter with a crisp jab.
Banda is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Icarus.
Banda is rocked!

Icarus throws a big shot that misses.
Banda is still on wobbly legs! Can Icarus finish him?
Icarus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Icarus missing with a left hand there. Banda was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Icarus misses with an uppercut.
Icarus tries to bum rush Banda with a series of wild strikes but Banda uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Icarus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Icarus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Banda seems to have recovered his senses.
Banda shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Icarus but Icarus pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Banda dives in and grabs Icarus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Icarus pushes down on Banda's head and hops out.
Icarus drops Banda with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Banda! Icarus dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Laz Icarus!
