Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Textmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, White Reflection by Two Mix. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Textmark sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Textmark on the ground.
Textmark looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Johnson wants to stand up but Textmark has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Textmark wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, if Johnson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Johnson is looking to pass Textmark's guard but actually Textmark recovers to full guard.
Textmark is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Johnson is looking to get back to full guard here but Textmark has managed to pass to side control instead.

Johnson tries to lock up and control but Textmark gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Johnson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Textmark stops Johnson from getting back to his feet.

Textmark is pressing down on Johnson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Johnson is holding on for now.
Textmark is looking for a kimura but Johnson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Textmark to get the leverage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Textmark lands a nice short elbow.

Textmark is working for a submission of some sort.
Textmark wants to advance to full mount but Johnson doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Textmark postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Textmark drops back, looking for a kneebar! Johnson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Johnson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Johnson!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Textmark is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Johnson is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Textmark bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Textmark throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Textmark as he avoids it easily.
Johnson tries for a takedown but Textmark sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Textmark counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mike Johnson's cut is getting worse.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Textmark. Textmark gets slowly back to his feet.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Textmark is avoiding it.
Textmark throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease.
Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Textmark circles away.
Textmark swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Textmark tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Textmark is not content to let Johnson control the position.

Textmark is trying to buck Johnson off.
Textmark manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnson's best efforts.
Johnson is just content to waste time from the top position. Textmark takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Textmark throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Textmark striking off his back but it's not causing Johnson any problems.
Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Textmark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Textmark looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Johnson passes into half guard.
Textmark tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Textmark gets full guard.
Textmark working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Johnson has passed into half guard!
Johnson tries to stand and escape but Textmark is controlling the position.
Johnson blocks the strikes from Textmark.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Textmark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
