And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Green Pillow!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pillow fails in his attempt to clinch.
Baylis throws a nice outside leg kick.
Baylis connects with a high kick.
Pillow is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Pillow closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Baylis to the mat! Baylis manages to get full guard.
Pillow sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Baylis looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Pillow is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Baylis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Baylis has escaped and now he's on top!

Baylis prevents Pillow from getting back to his feet.
Baylis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pillow on the ground.

Pillow has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Baylis is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Pillow keeps control of Baylis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Baylis wants to break free but Pillow has control.
Baylis prevents the takedown attempt.
Baylis is trying to force a seperation but Pillow has the dominant position.
Pillow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Baylis smiles and moves away.
Baylis cracks Pillow with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Baylis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pillow.
Kev Baylis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Green Pillow.
Baylis thumps Pillow with a low kick.
Kev Baylis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pillow tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A jab from Baylis finds it's way through Pillow's defenses.

Baylis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Baylis throws a head kick that Pillow semi-blocks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baylis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Baylis thows a body kick. Pillow tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Baylis plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Pillow fails with a takedown attempt.
Pillow looks winded!
Baylis throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Green Pillow has been cut.
Baylis lands a leg kick that knocks Pillow off balance momentarily.
Baylis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pillow.
Baylis takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Baylis throws a head kick but Pillow moves out of range.

Pillow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice body kick from Baylis.
Baylis connects with a solid leg kick.
A good leg kick by Baylis.
Baylis lands with a hook. Pillow tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Baylis with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Baylis lands a brutal head kick. Pillow looks out on his feet and Baylis throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Kev Baylis really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that EXTREME PSYCHO CLOTHING logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
