Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Keenen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Fournier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fournier has chosen L.L.Cool J - Mama said knock you out as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keenen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fournier manages to get to full guard.
Keenen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fournier's guard.
Keenen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fournier keeps working.
Keenen is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Fournier wants to sweep here but Keenen controlling him for the moment.
Keenen drops back looking for a leg! Fournier is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fournier manages to kick Keenen off! Keenen jumps back into Fournier's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Keenen wants to hold on but Fournier pushes him away.

Fournier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Keenen . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Keenen will probably get the nod.

Keenen closes the distance and clinches up with Fournier, looking for a takedown. Keenen pushes Fournier against the cage but Fournier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fournier throws a right and a left that Keenen avoids nicely.

Fournier stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Keenen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fournier manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Keenen has Fournier in his guard.

Keenen throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fournier uses it to pass to side control.
Keenen tries to buck Fournier off but Fournier is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee asks Fournier politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fournier prefers to stall for the moment though.
Keenen is trying to get back to half guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Keenen stuns Fournier with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Keenen shoots in for a double leg but Fournier sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jacques Fournier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Fournier looks to land a left hand but Keenen moved out of range nicely.
Keenen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fournier to score with a decent uppercut.

Keenen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fournier swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fournier might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Keenen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Keenen is looking to clinch but Fournier is avoiding it.
Fournier keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Keenen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fournier tries to avoid it but Keenen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fournier to the ground. Fournier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Fournier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
