Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josiah Mudzuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Jeggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Josiah Mudzuri has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Josiah Mudzuri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Dick Jeggins! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jeggins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mudzuri manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Jeggins forces his way into half guard. Jeggins is thwarting Mudzuri's attempts to control the position. Mudzuri is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Elite Training Facility, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Mudzuri wants to improve his position but Jeggins is controlling well.
Jeggins wants to free his trapped foot but Mudzuri is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mudzuri is in trouble now - Jeggins has advanced to mount! Mudzuri is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mudzuri is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jeggins looking for a guillotine from mount but Mudzuri is having none of it. Jeggins is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mudzuri has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jeggins raining down shots from the mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jeggins moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Mudzuri has worked his arm free - good work by Mudzuri!
Mudzuri manages to get back to half guard. Jeggins is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Mudzuri reverses the position - he's now on top in Jeggins's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jeggins is trying to keep Mudzuri in close.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mudzuri avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jeggins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mudzuri wants to control from the top but Jeggins keeps moving. Mudzuri tries to free his leg and advance position but Jeggins is retaining full guard. Jeggins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mudzuri is one step ahead there. Mudzuri drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jeggins looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jeggins looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jeggins!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jeggins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mudzuri keeps working. Jeggins looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mudzuri is avoiding damage well.
Mudzuri tries to improve position but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jeggins tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Jeggins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dick Jeggins dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mudzuri fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Mudzuri digs a good body shot into Jeggins's ribs. Jeggins tries for a takedown but Mudzuri sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jeggins misses with a takedown and Mudzuri counters with a nice uppercut. Jeggins shoots in looking for a takedown. Mudzuri tries to sprawl out of it but Jeggins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mudzuri manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Josiah Mudzuri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dick Jeggins. Jeggins's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mudzuri connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jeggins scrambles back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Mudzuri. Jeggins keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mudzuri. Josiah Mudzuri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jeggins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mudzuri counters with a nice uppercut. Mudzuri tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jeggins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jeggins misses with a hook. No luck for Jeggins with that takedown attempt. Mudzuri dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mudzuri scores with a hook to the body. Jeggins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Mudzuri scores with a jab. Jeggins acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mudzuri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jeggins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A punch combination from Mudzuri misses. Mudzuri lands a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jeggins misses with a takedown attempt - Mudzuri sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jeggins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mudzuri counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mudzuri gets a clinch. Jeggins tries to stall but Mudzuri uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Jeggins's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Mudzuri scores with a nice short uppercut. Mudzuri stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Mudzuri lands a hook to the side of the head. Mudzuri breaks the clinch.
Mudzuri slips under a jab. Mudzuri cracks Jeggins with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jeggins looking to score a takedown here. Mudzuri is defending well but Jeggins drives through and ends up in Mudzuri's guard. Mudzuri controls Jeggins momentarily but Jeggins frees himself. Mudzuri is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mudzuri has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jeggins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jeggins passes Mudzuri's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jeggins wants to control but Mudzuri is keeping him busy. Mudzuri looking for submissions off his back. Dick Jeggins has got the better of the ground game so far. Jeggins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mudzuri has managed to free his arm - good work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jeggins seems to be looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jeggins has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Mudzuri throws a big shot that misses. Jeggins shoots in and drives through. Mudzuri sprawls well. Mudzuri throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jeggins tries for a takedown but Mudzuri sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mudzuri uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jeggins has time to react. Jeggins dives in for a single leg takedown but Mudzuri sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Josiah Mudzuri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dick Jeggins. Mudzuri lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jeggins backwards.

Mudzuri's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Mudzuri lands a shoulder strike. Jeggins looking to stall.
Mudzuri lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jeggins backwards. Mudzuri is trying to stall.
A short left from Mudzuri. Mudzuri lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jeggins or not. Jeggins tries for a takedown but Mudzuri manages to get underhooks.
Mudzuri throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jegginss head. Mudzuri pushes Jeggins back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Jeggins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Mudzuri. Mudzuri lands a right hand. Still in the clinch, Mudzuri scores with a nice short uppercut.

Jeggins tries to score a body lock takedown but Mudzuri shows good agility there to stay on his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mudzuri lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Mudzuri cracks Jeggins with a nice body shot. Mudzuri breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Josiah Mudzuri is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mudzuri is looking to clinch. Mudzuri scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Mudzuri connects with a body shot that sends Jeggins's belly button to the back. Mudzuri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mudzuri lands a right hook to the body.

Jeggins shoots in looking for a takedown but Mudzuri manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jeggins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mudzuri connects with a body shot.

Mudzuri lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mudzuri. Jeggins shoots in for a double leg but Mudzuri sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mudzuri scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Jeggins fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mudzuri scores with a jab to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mudzuri slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Jeggins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mudzuri sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jeggins somewhat. Mudzuri connects with the punch. Mudzuri takes a swing at Jeggins's ribcage but misses. Mudzuri scores with a decent looking hook. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jeggins shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mudzuri but Mudzuri pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jeggins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mudzuri counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
And that's the end of the fight! Josiah Mudzuri showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mudzuri has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
