Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gwan Dylan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Steiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steiner has chosen Steiner as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Gwan Dylan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ricky Steiner! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dylan darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Dylan looks to score with a jab to the body but Steiner is just out of range. Steiner rushes Dylan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Steiner has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Dylan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Dylan. Steiner lands with a left to the head. Dylan lands an uppercut. Steiner struggles to land a body shot inside as Dylan controls his hands.

Steiner swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dylan with a flurry of punches that miss. Dylan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dylan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steiner swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dylan trying to control the position from guard on top but Steiner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Steiner wants to stand and escape but Dylan is having none of it. Dylan passes Steiner's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Dylan trying to control the action but Steiner is working from the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dylan is looking for a kimura here.

Dylan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Steiner doesn't manage to clinch there - Dylan circles away.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Steiner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dylan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dylan is working for a submission of some sort.

Gwan Dylan dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Steiner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dylan as he jumps to the side. Steiner throws a right and a left that Dylan avoids nicely. Dylan misses with a takedown attempt - Steiner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Steiner fails to land the takedown. Dylan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Steiner. Gwan Dylan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Steiner.

Dylan shoots in looking for a takedown. Steiner tries to sprawl out of it but Dylan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steiner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Steiner tries to clinch but Dylan is having none of it. Nope, Steiner circles away and we're back to standing. The fight stays on the outside here - Steiner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Steiner scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dylan is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Elite Training Facility, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Steiner thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Steiner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Steiner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dylan keeps working. Steiner not landing any meaningful shots this time. Dylan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Steiner is working for a submission of some sort.

Dylan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Steiner stays in close to Dylan's body and controls the position. Steiner is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Ricky Steiner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
