Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eino Juutilainen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Przemos Dipps! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dipps looks to land a body kick but Juutilainen moved away. Dipps tries to close the distance and clinch up but Juutilainen swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dipps has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Juutilainen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Juutilainen is trying to work for a kimura but Dipps is defending well.

Dipps is staying active underneath Juutilainen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Juutilainen stalling away here and it's allowed Dipps to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Dipps preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dipps working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Juutilainen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Juutilainen distracts Dipps with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Juutilainen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dipps has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Juutilainen has managed to get both his arms back between Dipps's legs - danger averted. Juutilainen wants to control from the top but Dipps keeps moving. Juutilainen looking to sit in guard and control but Dipps gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Juutilainen is trying to keep Dipps in close.
Dipps sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Juutilainen's guard. Juutilainen moves into full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Juutilainen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dipps! Juutilainen wants to control the pace but Dipps is squirming around nicely. Juutilainen lands a heavy elbow. Juutilainen lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Dipps is looking for a sweep. Juutilainen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Juutilainen working over Dipps with some ground and pound. Dipps looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dipps is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Juutilainen scores with a couple of nice shots. We've been hearing good reports from Juutilainen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Dipps should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dipps tries to roll over but Juutilainen keeps him under control. Juutilainen looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Juutilainen seems to be working for a kimura but Dipps defends the submission attempt. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dipps is looking for a sweep. Juutilainen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dipps on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Juutilainen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dipps trying to hold on to Juutilainen's head to control him but Juutilainen postures up.

Juutilainen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dipps tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Juutilainen is in Dipps's guard. Juutilainen is working Dipps over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Juutilainen jumps back into Dipps's guard. Dipps is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Juutilainen rolls with it to try and escape but Dipps cranks on the arm and Juutilainen is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
