Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Tunney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caelus Nox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nox has chosen Why cant we be freinds as his entrance music. Caelus Nox will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tunney is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Nox felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Nox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tunney. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tunney drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tunney jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tunney is in close to Nox's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Nox throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Tunney escapes and throws Nox's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tunney is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Tunney decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nox, up you get!
Caelus Nox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nox closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nox lands in his opponent's guard.

Nox plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Nox grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Tunney takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Nox cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
