PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamezdin Shraf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Natural Tahuti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shraf kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is O.C. - time's up . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shraf gets tackled into the cage by Tahuti. Tahuti maintains the clinch.

Shraf turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Shraf works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The ground and pound from Shraf seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Tahuti manages to work his way to half guard, despite Shraf's best efforts.

Tahuti tries to kick Shraf off but Shraf keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Tahuti is staying active underneath Shraf, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shraf is looking for a kimura but Tahuti is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Shraf to get the leverage.
Tahuti looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Shraf is nestled in close to Tahuti, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Shraf is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tahuti doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shraf.
Shraf has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Shraf is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tahuti is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Shraf has an Americana. Tahuti didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shraf is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shraf hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Jamezdin Shraf was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
