The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best takes a jab right on the kisser.
Loblaw fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Best looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Loblaw digs a good body shot into Best's ribs.
Best tries for a takedown but Loblaw circles away easily
and Loblaw moves into the clinch.
Loblaw prevents the takedown attempt.
Loblaw lands with a right to the head.
Loblaw's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Loblaw.
Best looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Loblaw lands with a left to the head.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Loblaw obliges.
Loblaw lands with a short shot to the head.
Loblaw pushes Best back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Best takes a shot to the head.
A body shot lands from Loblaw.
The referee calls for Loblaw to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Loblaw unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Best! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Loblaw is unloading with more strikes now! Best drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Loblaw!
