The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sneijder keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Salgado circles away from the clinch attempt
and Salgado counters with a series of strikes. Sneijder will be more careful next time no doubt.
Oooooh!!! Salgado has knocked Sneijder down with a huge combo! Salgado steps away and waves a wobbly Sneijder back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Henk Sneijder has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sneijder tries to clinch but Salgado moves out of range.

Sneijder get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Sneijder stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Salgado runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Francisco Salgado!
